Our fourth member decided to join us four weeks early, not long after our last ski runs as a family of three at the Blanket. A few turns and a few weeks later, Colt Van Schaffer arrived.
It was a wild ride and our spirited, unexpected and brave little person has completed our four pack. Huck has been a sweet big brother, and so other than the occasional baby brother belly flop, we will take it as a win.
Life feels full to the brim, busier than we could imagine, and full of love. Let ‘er buck!

Yeeehaww! 🤠….18 months with this busy little rug rat, he’s brought more fun and brought more joy to our little family than we ever could have imagined. I have so much gratitude for this tiny human, and am continually surprised and humbled at how much he teaches us every day.

The year just flies by somehow and parenthood feels like a weird mix of the slowest and also fastest moments. We can’t believe our little Huckleberry is one! He has added so much fun and laughter to our lives, and our goofy, optimistic little baby seems to be growing up far too fast.
We love you Huckleberry pie, special little guy!
