Sometimes a great achievement is learning to travel without rushing, enjoying the journey, and letting the wind and tides guide us to that dreamed-of spot

Another lovely week for running! I'm training for the Exeter marathon in May. All going well so far. 140km week, 7 weeks to go! I'm raising money for Oakley again who has SMA Type 1, /page/steve-thorp-2
Epic conditions = epic action.
The @cornishcoldwaterclassic has given us unforgettable images.

We've had it all thrown at us this week! 3.7 port tack, 3.7 starboard tack, wobble n ride, 20ft swells!
Pics are of Marazion where the last time I sailed on a similar day, I ruptured my Achilles after being flattened by a classic Maza mega gust mid turn. Took me 2hrs to decide to go out but I'm really glad I did! Last shot is Fistral with a 20ft swell running, the day we sailed the Bluff.
Maza shots by Steve King.

Motorbikes, pushbikes and surfboards are all well and good, but this is what it's really about! So good to finally have some conditions again! Thanks Jason Way Photography for the pic. @k4fins@ezzysails@bluesmiths@ezzysails.uk
Denali and me did some Short circuit XC MTB racing at the weekend with @wheal_velocity ! Both had an epic time, great fun π€. Big thank you to them and all the volunteers for organising! They run kids coaching on Saturday afternoons at Wheal Jane, super friendly, well worth going along π€

Thought I'd never get another motorbike but this Honda Super dream CB250 is sufficiently slow and ancient to keep me behaving myself I reckon! Still got the old race lid. Surfboard rack on order π€
