We would like to take this opportunity to thank @fitzroviachapel for offering us the space in kind and to @grimshawarch for their kind donation to the project.
🏅A huge congrats to James Thomas for completing the #TokyoMarathon, and thank you to @ahmmarchitects for contributing £175 to Two Step on his behalf! Every donation counts toward helping people experiencing #homelessness find housing and avoid the downward spiral of life on the streets.
Let’s show @jwpthomas some love in the comments!👇

For Architects and all those involved in the design, and construction of beautiful buildings there is a huge joy in seeing the completed work.
Yesterday, I saw for the first time the finished Rabat Grand Theatre.
For four years I was the project Architect. Responsible for developing the detailed design, finding the best contractors, and reviewing construction. I flew to Rabat for a week each month, studied French at Alliance Francaise, and in the process developed a great love and respect for the people of Morocco.
I consider the Theatre the last great master work of Dame Zaha Hadid before her untimely death. It was a great pleasure to work for this most brilliant of Architects and the extraordinary opportunity she gave me when she asked me to represent her in presenting the Theatre to the client, his Majesty King Mohammed VI at the ground breaking ceremony in 2014.
We had the very best design team: ZHA, Omar Alaoui and his wonderful team of Architects, AKT Structural Engineers, Max Fordham MEP, Omnium Engineering, Arup Acoustics, Newtecnic Façade Engineers and many others.
The end result is magnificent, the contractors have done a beautiful job of realising the vision of King Mohammed VI and Zaha Hadid. The theatre is a visible by day and night up and down the river Bouregreg and the twin cities of Rabat and Sale.
I salute all my colleagues who have played their role in bringing this vision to life.
