What a start to 2024. Two days of intense rehearsals then a sellout concert. Congrats to @fourplaysq and @neilhimself on bringing the album to life. Massive respect to @jordanverzar and the dream team at the Opera House. Big ups to Ben, Gio, Blaine, Ali, Annika, Andrew, Bobby, Mark, Marcus, Andrew and all who helped create this magical night.
Sometimes making records is kinda hard and sometimes it's totally not! What a dream few days laying down the new Elixir record with these absolute monsters: @katie_noonan_music@zachurren and my new favourite guitarist/human @benhauptmannmusic . Zac has built a great sounding room and the music just falls onto the tape (well, hard drive, but you get the vibe)
Well this crept up on me: @Mvlholland_ has got a million spotify streams and I couldn't be prouder. Such an amazing young artist! I love that people are connecting with her beautiful stories. Big ups to the incomparable @lach_bostock 's gorgeous production.

The Wreckers
This is my favourite track from the album, Signs Of Life. It's about sharing someone's grief at the loss of a loved one.
It's a full live take with the quartet and Neil at Sony Music Studios Australia. Neil was in the vocal booth but with the door open for more vibe.
I could feel as it went down that something really special was happening.
