Anyway here's my art.
Slide 1: 'Southwestern'. This sneakily made its way to all platforms. Its also on the Ep i dropped last month which will hit all that streaming stuff in April. im super proud of this song and kind of don't know how i made it when i loaten back sometimes.
slide 2: This is the best photo I've ever taken in my life. it's looks so emotionally heavy because, well, it was an incredibly candid moment thats continued to inform alot of my life as of late. Anyway the photo itself is kind of like a palpable time capsule. Love you 4ever @smalltoownmusic

Slide 3: 'Get off' Another track off the EP. This was me trying to be Radiohead, but if they made experimental R&B. i want to play this live again.
Slide 4: Yet another track from the 'New Skin' EP. I made this with the homie @rooney___toones and its called 'Your Regime'
This one is tricky. its like house/ future pop/ rap/ and dancefloor all combined. its some real alien shit that im, again, incredibly proud of and also confused as to where i found 60+ hours to pour into making it. It'll be on streaming with the rest of the EP soon.
Slide 5: Unreleased track that made me feel like bon iver. I could sing when i recorded this. i cant sing anymore. Maybe I'll drop this on my Bandcamp soon.
Slide 6: This is the end song breakdown of an unreleased track i made. I love transitions and when a song breaksdown all of its tiny melodies and morphs into something totally different. i think music is at its purest form in those moments. Between the guitar riffs, and liquid drum sounds you can hear me and @smalltoownmusic wailing in the background. Kosher

So last month I finally let go of 5 songs i'd made over the past few years that I loved and kept in this folder named "to be determined". Lately releasing art is an extremely vulnerable thing for me to do. theres few things that scream "plight of human" more than wanting to be percieved but being paralyzed by the fear of how you're actually seen.. I wanted to get past that fear by putting out the perfect little piece of art that i could, and in the process form a narrative, and manifest momentum or some kind of social approval. This is far from perfect, in fact its purposely flawed. What it actually is is a real, gritty snapahot of my life the past few years told through the PA system of exaggerated thought and memory. Its fitting the title track is titled 'Remember'.
TLDR:
Here are 8 records that i think i loved the most the past few years, that I also needed to let go of so i can move forward with this experiment and stop over thinking, toxic loving, and stalling.
