What a privilege to be able to witness the end of the Elite Races and see that chaos that comes from them. All of these athletes in the @lifetimegrandprix are truly insane.

Sitting here in Green Bay for the 2025 Draft, this seems like a decent time to post this work from last year

Not only were they a great hang, they were super awesome to work with and let me try some new ideas.
I really feel like I’m dialing in a style and loved having the opportunity to flex that a bit more here.
All I want to do is climb some more mountains.

A little while ago I got to do some portrait work with my friend @johnaustenmiller for his first album. He let me have some fun and we broke out the 4x5 large format and Hasselblad to do some slow contemplative work that in many ways mirrors his own music.
It was such a great session and it’s still fun to go back and look at huge 4x5 film negatives you can get from this!
I had the privilege to be able to photograph my good friends, John and Jeannette for their engagement shoot. What an amazing thing it is to be able to document the beginning of a beautiful relationship!
Being able to revisit where they first really got to know each other was so much fun for all of us! And the light wasn’t too bad either ☺️

2025: A year of growth and hardship, newly found joys despite unexpected pain. Of coffee shops and mountain tops. Of learning to push myself, and when despite my best efforts, I need to take a break.
This year showed me just how good I have it, I am surrounded by friends in family. I see them in the most unexpected small ways.
Today I am filled with joy looking back on how far I’ve come, and how much more I have yet to go.
2026 is the year where a lot is going to change, and I can’t wait to see what it’ll be like looking back in a year from now.
I didn’t realize how terrifying it would be to have my camera dangle over the ocean for 6 hours…

Unbound 2025
This race will always hold a special place in my heart. I don’t know what it is—maybe you could call it the spirit of gravel—but there’s something about the flint hills of emporia Kansas that is just magical.
The people, the places, the event. @unboundgravel is spectacular and I hope I can keep finding excuses to keep coming back.
The @lifetimegrandprix was electric and the everyday riders were inspiring. I left more energized than I arrived.
And at the end of that day, that’s all I can ask for.
