Delighted to be one of the seven venues in the St Margarets area taking part in @artsrichmonduk ‘s Open Studios event - we’re hosting a wonderful exhibition by @richmondprintmakers and we’ll be open on the weekend of May 23rd, 24th,25th - the event also takes place elsewhere on 30th and 31st May. Richmond Printmakers are excited to present our upcoming exhibtion with @justgoodframes.A collection of original prints by members of Richmond Printmakers will be on show from 21st May until 20th June at the @justgoodframes gallery in East Twickenham, including the weekend of @artsrichmonduk Art House Open Studios from 23rd-25th May. We scoured the online stores of some of the world’s best museums to find this collection of @davidhockneynyc #davidhockney posters and framed them with help from @d_j_simons frame mouldings and @artglass_by_groglass UV70 anti-reflective glass. Quick as a flash they all sold out, so we ordered more posters and more frame mouldings and more glass and here we are again. Thanks especially to @saltsmillofficial and @louisianamuseum and @fondationlv and @lacma and @metmuseum and @mfaboston and more. It’s always a lovely day with David Hockney’s art!

We’ve been busy over the last few weeks framing a new collection to offer our customers:The Colours of St Ives, a selection of A3 posters from Tate St Ives featuring exhibitions over the last twenty-five years by many of the great artists of St Ives and Cornwall and further afield, all framed in recycled, repurposed and hand-finished bespoke frames, with spacers and UV70 AR glass. We acquired the posters recently from @laysauctioneers in @lovepenzance ; our favourites include @barnsgraham Graham, Ben Nicholson, @barbarahepworthart , @williamscott_archive , Peter Lanyon, @francisbaconartist, Karl Weschke, Bryan Pearce, Alfred Wallis, @ellsworthkellystudio and @alexkatzofficial . Competitively priced and very collectable, #whentheyregonetheyregone @tatestives @artglass_by_groglass @laysfineart
