This is where games become moments 😤🎯
Every game ends with a walk-off bucket and the Target Score has already delivered some of the craziest finishes Canadian basketball has ever seen.
The summer is about to heat up 🥵
📺 Watch every game live on CBC Gem, CBCSports.ca, YouTube and CEBL+
With our premiere at the Toronto Short Film Festival now in the rear view, it’s time to take a look even further back to some behind the scenes photos from THE ONLY WAY OUT IS DOWN!
Thanks again to everyone who was able to make it out to our premiere! I couldn’t have been happier with the evening. We are looking forward to bringing the film to more festivals soon!
Nowruz in 1996 in Iran. From what I remember it’s the last time all 5 of us spent Nowruz together. In this video, both my mom and oldest brother are pleading for a better new year… “hopefully next year is better”, “please let next year be better.” It didn’t happen. Fearing for his life my father fled to Canada and soon after, my mom, my middle brother and myself joined him. But the hope they had in this video feels particularly poignant in a time like now, where hope feels almost like an impossibility. No one in this video knew exactly what the following year had in store for them, how scattered and fractured their lives would become. But hope persisted, however fleeting. As the people of Iran battle through a mix of emotions on this Nowruz, I hope for a better year for everyone, especially the people of my country, even in these uncertain times. Sale No Mobarak 🌸
Life moves way too quickly to not look back and reflect every now and then. Saw friends get married, get engaged, we moved, we travelled, we sang, we did a whole damn lot.
