There’s lots of new faces around here so I figured it was about time I reintroduced myself! 👋🏼
I’m Emily, owner and lead designer of Juniper Jayne Creative.
I’ve had the honour and privilege to work with couples over the last 3 years to bring their floral dreams to life. Prior to venturing out on my own, I spent several years as the on-site florist at @pineridgehollow . This is where I first fell in love with flowers and weddings in general! So many lasting memories from the years I spent out there from the people to the beautiful grounds, the countless weddings I had the privilege to be a part of - it really shaped me to who I am today.
I’ve always had a deep pull towards nature. I find I’m most myself and at peace outside, taking in all of the little wonders of our earth. I’ve always been fascinated with the concept of planting a seed in the soil and harvesting such beautiful intricate blooms. With nature being such a deep and meaningful part of my life, I feel so fortunate to have been lead to a career in floristry.

When I’m designing bridal bouquets, I’m always listening to @leifvollebekk , I don’t know when it started but it’s just part of my design flow. He’s my favourite ✨
I’m super close with my family. They help out behind the scenes with weddings, their support means everything to me 🥲
I recently got into a new house and simply cannot wait to see what comes up in the gardens this spring. Currently welcoming all gardening tips 🫶🏼
I’ve got lot’s of exciting things in the works for 2025! From building out a new studio space to working on some dream weddings, I cannot wait to continue to share this journey with you all! ✨

The creative slump this time of year on the off season is soo real. When everything is grey outside, the anticipation is high for the upcoming wedding season, the endless admin work, getting stuck while creating recipes and design plans when you’re creative brain isn’t necessarily feeling inspired, patiently awaiting spring - I think my brain was desperately needing an afternoon like this. Creating just to create. In my cozy little living room. Seeing where the design took me. Changing things up as I went. And just like that, I was feeling alive again.
PS: This piece was designed for BE STILL (created by @gossamer.flowers ) as part of First Fridays in the Exchange! (I ended up switching a few things for my display so it’ll still be a surprise if you go to check it out 🤭). It’s free to experience tonight and tomorrow at @aceartinc .
