✨ JuneteenthKC Pageant Workshop Series – Day 3 ✨
A day all about Hair Education, Confidence, and CULTURAL PRIDE 💫—and what a powerful experience it was!
In partnership with the Walker Foundation, our young ladies participated in an inspiring session centered on embracing the beauty, versatility, and history of our hair. From understanding proper hair care maintenance to learning how to confidently show up as their authentic selves, this workshop poured directly into their self-esteem and personal development.
💇🏽♀️ Each participant received a customized hair care kit filled with essential products and beauty supplies—equipping them with the tools they need to maintain healthy, beautiful hair beyond the program.
But the growth didn’t stop there…
👠 Our Pageant Coach, Lorenzo, continued preparing the girls for the stage—guiding them through:
• Selecting the right heels for confidence and comfort
• Practicing poses and stage presence
• Perfecting posture to command the spotlight
Every session, every lesson, every moment—these young queens are BLOOMING right before our eyes 🌸
We are so proud of their growth, confidence, and commitment to becoming the best versions of themselves.

As a long-time member of the historic Wild Tchoupitoulas Black Masking Indians, he carries forward sacred Mardi Gras Indian traditions with unmatched authenticity, artistry, and heart.
His music blends West African rhythms, funk, brass band sound, hip-hop, bounce, and street chants—earning national acclaim with hit projects like Flagboy of the Nation, I Got Indian in My Family (featuring Mannie Fresh), and his viral single “We Outside,” which was featured by the NFL during Super Bowl 59.
