Join us May 14 for the opening night exhibition of Life is Circus by

Life is a Circus is a series of paintings that brings together symbolism, identity, and movement through an unconventional canvas: twelve skateboard decks. Each deck features a Chinese zodiac animal paired with a corresponding birth month flower, forming a cycle that reflects both individuality and interconnectedness.
This body of work is a personal meditation on life as a dynamic, unpredictable performance—much like a circus. Each zodiac animal embodies distinct traits and energies, while the birth flowers introduce another layer of meaning tied to time, growth, and human experience. Together, they create visual narratives that explore character, fate, and the rhythms that shape our lives.
The choice of skateboard decks is intentional. Rooted in my street art background, the skateboard represents freedom, rebellion, and urban culture. By transforming these objects into painted surfaces, I bridge fine art and street expression, blurring the boundaries between gallery space and the raw, kinetic energy of the streets.
Through Life is Circus, I invite viewers to reflect on their own roles within this ongoing performance—how identity is constructed, how we move through cycles, and how chaos and beauty coexist in the spectacle of everyday life.
