He’s made from vintage @kaffefassettstudio fabrics and gold lamé bandaging, and he lives on a wall without anyone having to die for it. A soft, floral, fully alive stand-in for every trophy that wasn’t.
Florian is one of the new works I’m bringing to Doe and Deery @kennedygallery in North Bay this September — a show about the places where wilderness and violence meet, and what tenderness can do in that space.
