It couldn’t be a more perfect spring day to come on down to the Burlington Farmers’ Market. We have Tulips, Ranunculus, Poppies, Fritillaries, Daffodils, mixed bouquets, and Mason Jar arrangements. We love Burlington, we love Vermont so come on down and shop for the ones who support and care for you, whether it’s for yourself or someone you love because everyone deserves flowers @bfmvermont Happy Mother’s Day
Pansy party with a few frits and ranunculus all grown locally by @junefarm_
*I’ve made it a goal to design a monthly arrangement that feels like that month ~ follow along as the seasons change.
Thank you for such an incredible week so far! Today we’re wrapping up for the FIRST Burlington Farmers’ Market of the season starting tomorrow at 9am on Pine St. We have so many incredible flowers and I hope to see you there 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗 you know Vermont loves a farmers’ market @bfmvermont
It’s Spring! Rain or Shine! Hot or cold! It’s fleeting! Spring flowers are like no other! Get muddy! Enjoy losing your sweater by the end of the day! We have Tulips, Ranunculus, Poppies, Pansies, Willows, Daffodils, and Fritillaries! Buy spring flowers while you can! Enjoy the sunshine when it’s here! It’s Vermont!
This Saturday, May 9th is the first Burlington Farmers Market of the season, we’ll be there from 9–2, and every Saturday through October.
Wholesale is going out Tuesday and Wednesday this week. There’s still time to get an order in, or you can pick up at the farm.
Also, our Dahlia and/or Lisi CSAs make a really good Mother’s Day gift
I really love flowers
Spring has been a little too moody for me this year, making me a little too moody for me too, so we decided to bring back our summer CSA.
We took a year off after the floods and a big ol’ farm move, but we missed it and it seems like a lot of you did too because we’ve already sold quite a bit without even sharing it here, but there are still plenty of spots left.
This time around we’re doing things a little differently and offering two options: a Dahlia CSA (because we’re growing more than ever this year) and a Lisi CSA (because I want y’all to love them as much as I do). Both run for 4 weeks and are $125 and pickups are at the farm in Charlotte or in Burlington @wilderwinesvt
The link is in our bio if you want to learn more and sign up and get yourself ready for the heat of summer while we (impatiently) wait for winter to get the heck out of spring. Thanks! Love you! Hopefully see you this summer!
If you have a hard time during seasonal transitions like I do, flowers really help and you can now grab a bouquet at all our usual spots. We drop weekly at @citymarketcoop South and DT @healthy.living.market Williston and SB @jakesonemarketbtv@miserylovescovt@oldbrickstore <3 Fantail willow is my favorite and it’s in every single one this week
Sometimes I think the season doesn’t really begin until the first flowers leave the farm and if that’s the case our flowering season starts next week. Our CSA starts on Wednesday, there’s still time to sign up and our wholesale list heads out a week after that.
I’m very excited for the flowers again and always grateful to be able to spend every single day, all day long, with my very best friend Maybee
Just about a month before this CSA begins and I’m sure we can all use some flowers these days. Pick up locations are at the farm in Charlotte or @wilderwinesvt in Burlington. Link is in our bio to learn more and sign up. I know I need some flowers
New year, same old crew ❣️, but if anyone wants to come harvest truck loads of flowers a couple mornings a week and work the Burlington Farmers’ Market this summer hit us up. Back to work in a few short weeks
Fall mostly just feels like time is running out. We’ve been swamped, and I can never remember to take a photo.
Since I last shared anything with the social world, we’ve pulled the dahlias, planted tulips, peonies, and all the other specialty bulbs, planted a whole new perennial field, put in all the overwintered flowers, dug/saved the mums, cleared greenhouses, cleared fields, rescued two kittens, bought the original farmhouse to the land we farm on, painted the entire inside of the house, IYKYK, gutted the kitchen… and probably a dozen other things I’m forgetting.
And now I have until Dec. 1 to finish whatever’s left before I finally get to rot, just a bit. Busy busy and lucky to be. We’ll also be launching our 2026 Winter Tulip CSA on Dec. 1, because why the heck not ❣️
We still have a whole house full of dahlias and we’ll be @bfmvermont tomorrow at 9am, so come grab some before you have to wait a whole year for local dahlias
If the flowers keep blooming, we’ll keep cutting, even with a million things to do before the deep cold moves in. I do consider myself a fair-weather farmer, but we’ll keep sending out our wholesale list until the frost comes. Only three farmers markets left. Not sure if the frost will bring a bit of relief or dread, but either way, it’s been a very good season ❣️
