Couldn’t be happier or more thankful for this new adventure. Having my own space means you get more access to more magazines, central AC, impromptu tape transfer demos, and TBH easier clean up for me!

I originally designed “Give Me a Sign” during the pandemic in 2021. I didn’t know if things would be okay. I still don’t know if things will be okay. But we have to have hope, hence the (probably).
This piece sparked up some great conversations over the weekend at Jackalope, and it was fun watching people read the text and let out a light chuckle at the end.
The world needs hope and joy and all the good things right now. Everything will be okay, probably.

Tiny but also HUGE! ✨Whimsical World 💞 the latest sticker book by @martinastinystore is available for pre-order now, and I got to design a page for it 🥹 This one’s really for the stationery girlies complete with a mini composition book, pencil, UH OH eraser and teeny tiny index cards. There’s also stickers of a few of my collages, and some of my favorite collage bits I’ve collected over the years.
I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy of this. 40 artists! 3,000+ stickers! Wow wow wow wow I love the community @martinamartin has created 🤩

Monthly horoscope collages for @britishvogue online 💫 L to R: Taurus ♉️, Aries ♈️, Pisces ♓️ and Aquarius ♒️. At the beginning of the year I got an email I almost certainly thought was spam. It started with, “Hi, it’s Nicole at British Vogue,” and ended up with me creating 12 visuals to head up each month’s Horoscope page. 🤩 Thank you for bringing me on as part of this project, @colesontoast . 💞
@Annabelgat writes the horoscopes, and tips me off to visual themes I could dial in on. It’s been such a fun collaboration! Can’t wait to see how the rest of these turn out. 4 down, 8 to go! 🌟

First collage in the new studio! ✂️ Out of all the magazines I could’ve picked to work with, I grabbed a “Sunset” that had an article about at home creative studio spaces and it felt perfect as I just moved out of my home studio. The universe also delivered some paper materials for me to work with, (literally on the sidewalk in front of my studio) and I included the tiny graphic of a hummingbird in this collage. 🪶
A studio can really be anywhere, and I’m thankful for all of the kinds of spaces I’ve worked in over the years. This piece will be a reminder of where I came from and where I’m going 💞

Huge news! I signed a commercial lease on a studio space!!! 🎉
This will be my art studio where I create, a gathering place for in person workshops, and will allow me to expand my product offerings.
I’m SO EXCITED! I’ll be hosting my first collage workshop in the new space on World Collage Day: Saturday, May 9. Mark your calendars! 🗓️
Until then, I’ll be hard at work getting the studio all set up. I’ve been all over Facebook Marketplace, doing IKEA trips, deep cleaning vintage flat files, and packing all my art stuff up to move.
This is a huge step that makes me feel like a proper professional artist. I kind of can’t believe it. 🥹Thanks for being part of my journey ✌️Hope to see you in the studio soon!

My lips are sealed, because they’re glued together. 👄
I re-wrapped my Burts Bees chap stick to look like a glue stick! I designed the label in Illustrator, and used a Posca pen to color the cap orange. Now I just have to be careful not to mix it up in my pile of glue sticks. 😅
