So delighted to be included in this group show of local artists working small. I created six pieces -all on 8“ x 8“ wood cradle panels. I called the series “Mad Rush”, because the deadline came very quickly. Each piece is $95. The celebration will be Friday, April 17 at Maya Moon on Adams Avenue in San Diego, California.
I just finished teaching a gel plate ‘transfer’ workshop today at @arton30th in San Diego. The first image is my sample, but the rest are the amazing work from the artists in the workshop today. We created some wonderful “grunge” backgrounds and then transferred both laser prints and magazine imagery. We had a wonderful “Mix it Up” opening and open studios at Art on 30th this past weekend. Thanks to everyone who came out to see the art.
