5 Tips for Progression 🚀 Read caption for details⬇️ Share it in your story & Tag a friend who needs to see this🥳 1. try something new every session💫 You don’t need to try a new trick every time you hit the water, but you can also add small things like a new grab to your riding. You can also try working on your style or technique on tricks you already know! 2. Film yourself 🎥 Filming myself or getting filmed by someone definitely helps your progression a ton! Sometimes how a trick feels and how it really looks can be completely different. 3. Ride with friends 🥳 Riding with others can definitely help to improve your riding because you can push each other, try tricks together and motivate each other! 4.Don’t overthink ❌ It’s helpful to imagine the movements of a trick before you try it on the water, but don’t overthink it! Most importantly: don’t let fear hold you back! 5. Have fun 🤩 To get better in something you need to leave your comfort zone, but don’t forget to have fun! Don’t push yourself too hard! Wanna have a strong core that actually helps you in Wakeboarding? Do these movements 💪 If you want more control in the air, better handle passes, stronger edging and less lower back pain after long sessions — train your core properly. A strong core in wakeboarding is not just about “having abs”.�It’s about creating tension, stability and control while your body moves under load and rotation. The exercises in this video target exactly that: 🔸 Hanging leg raises → compression strength + hip flexor/core control for spins and inverts 🔸Rotational raises → rotational stability and body awareness in the air 🔸Windmills → total core engagement and coordination 🔸 L-sit holds → static strength and body tension 🔸Cable crunches → building strength and power through the abs And yes — nutrition matters too. You can train abs every day, but if your nutrition is off, they won’t really become visible.�A balanced diet, enough overall calories for your goals, and especially enough protein are key for recovery and muscle growth. Protein helps repair muscle tissue after riding and training sessions and supports building stronger muscles over time. Train smart. Ride longer. THESE 2 exercises will Save your Shoulders and will help you to Wakeboard stronger & longer 🚀 Wakeboarding constantly pulls your body forward — from long sets to heavy crashes — and over time your shoulders really take the load. That’s why shoulder health is non-negotiable if you want to ride pain-free and stay strong on the water. Here are 2 simple but powerful exercises you should add to your training routine Dumbbell External Rotation�Sit on a bench with one leg up and your elbow supported on the inside of your knee. Keep your chest stable and aligned, then slowly rotate the dumbbell outward in a controlled range of motion.�Focus on control, not weight — this strengthens your rotator cuff and helps stabilize your shoulder joint. Face Pulls (Cable Machine)�Set the rope slightly above eye level. Pull it towards your face while rotating your hands outward and squeezing your shoulder blades together.�This builds upper back strength, improves posture, and keeps your shoulders balanced from all the forward pull in riding. Perform 2-3 sets two times a week Simple, consistent work here = healthier shoulders, better posture, and longer riding career.
