repudiated bodies
The work is capturing several imprints of queer bodies through nails getting pushed into a mattress, creating a collective imprint while using the concept of a toy nail board. It deals with the unfitting feeling of being queer in a heteronormative environment that is „(un)comfortable for those who can(’t) inhabit it“ (jq, Ahmed 2014: 147).
