come with me while I explore the food scene in downtown toronto 🍜✨ 📍Raku 456 Queen St W, Toronto, ON M5V 2A8 finally made it to Raku, a place that’s been living rent free in my mind because udon >>> everything!!😩🫶 Ordered the pork gyoza ($12) which was crispy on the bottom, juicy and savoury on the inside 🥟. The ebiten ($18) came with that comforting, umami rich broth and perfectly chewy noodles, topped with shrimp tempura🍤. It was light, crispy, and so satisfying. The sansai bukkake ($19) is a chilled udon with mountain vegetables, super refreshing, earthy, and packed with texture. Every bowl? Absolutely slurp worthy 😋🥢 . 📍ChaTraMue 341 Spadina Ave., Toronto, ON M5T 2G3 then I had to stop by Cha Tra Mue because I last had it in thailand 🧡. Got the thai tea with konjac jelly ($6.50 + $0.85). Their drinks are creamy, fragrant, and perfectly sweet with that chewy jelly adding the best little bite. It felt like i was instantly transported back to Thailand 🇹🇭 . 📍Juicy Dumpling 280 Spadina Ave., Toronto, ON M5T 0A1 last stop: Juicy Dumplings. ordered the steamed mini soup pork dumplings ($2.99/6), pan-fried mini soup pork dumplings ($3.99/6), and spicy shrimp wontons.
