MY REFLECTION KEEPS FOLLOWING ME
Love to all who love others in life and hate to those who spew hate, even unintentionally like I just did, I must stay translucent and lucid simply because it feels good.
If you know you… know?
(1/2) My oldest expired roll of black and white film (89) shot with a Tiffen orange filter, which was later colorized by a computer and then color corrected
You can notice the orange filter I used especially in the 5th photo, where it made the leaves appear white.
@willkleihege City in a Garden (2022)
This is a film about perception. We chose Kodak Ektachrome Single 8mm which was modified by the folk who run Re:voir in Paris.
Single 8mm is a motion picture film format introduced by Fujifilm of Japan in 1965. It is now discontinued. Re:voir cuts the Kodak film celluloid to fit into this discontinued film cartridge. This gave us access to older cameras and their lenses that were built for a different era of filmmaking.
We utilized granular synthesis while building the soundscape for the film. This type of synthesis allows for manipulation of sound that is highly similar to how sound works in reality.
This also allowed us to meld our score with sounds from the city seamlessly.
Principal photography began in March 2022. The film was shot in and around Chicago.
Thank you @louisalcade for lending us your voice!

Landscape in Motion (2022)
Earth constantly shifts and changes. It’s slow though. See it happen in real time here.
Created using a combination of numerous landscape photos taken in Colorado and Utah.
Watch this 6 minute doc about a Romanian painter across from the Art Institute in the Chicago Loop. Link in my bio :)
