Ever since Jeff and Taylor told me about this project, the nights have turned into chicken wings, games, music, random conversations, and slowly building the universe of Good Park.
These photos are just small pieces of that world we create together.
Little memories that’ll stay with me, of good friends hanging around, creating something from nothing, and waiting for summer to finally begin.

Talking with @joaquiruiz about this video, we kept coming back to how complicated connection feels now.
We think we know someone because we’ve seen them through a screen. We build an idea of them before we ever really meet them. And somewhere in that, we start performing too becoming a version of ourselves that feels easier to show, but harder to truly connect with.
This video is about that distance. The characters we play. The loneliness that comes from not being fully seen.

“Cayendo is about the roles we perform to protect ourselves – and how those roles can keep us from real feeling and connection” - Juanda Vasquez
New York-based directors Juanda Vasquez and Joaquín Ruiz hold a mirror to group dynamics, capturing the tension between protection and connection through dance for short film ‘Cayendo’
Choreographed by Ruiz, who also performs alongside dancers Lavy Cavaliere, Jacob Thoman and Jake Tribus, ‘Cayendo’ draws parallels between self-discovery and the creative process, framing bodies in movement as imperfect, uncertain, and evolving, slowly becoming what they need to be through interaction and inward reflection ❤️

i’ve been wanting to use my phone differently.
not less, just differently.
so i’ve been deleting my socials every day until 5 pm and only using it to schedule posts.
creating has always been a big part of my life, and i think this is helping me find my way back to it.🖤
