A nice night last night at @fibreleicester 's first SCRATCH screening. Big Red went well amongst the other films on show!
(I also couldn't let their choice of speaker brand pass without notice - a nice co-inky-dink there! 🤣)

The nominations are in! I'm proud to announce that Big Red is nominated for Best Animated Film at the @midlandsmovies Awards 2026.
From what I've seen of the others named it's a very high calibre of films in that category - I'm very excited to see how it fares in such good company.

Today was my birthday! And so we come to 36...luckily I turned out with the Easter weekend off work. so I've been able to get out for it.
Had a great time with cinema screenings of Arco and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, lunch at Wetherspoons and a trip round @derbycomputermuseum . 😀
Just come from a fantastic night shooting with Chris Annable @gluey2468 and crew at the @80svideoshop in Alfreton, for part of an upcoming film of his. A presenter who is the picture of dignity...even when wearing spandex. 😆
This was such a fun performance, and such a thrill to see the lot behind the camera crack up with each take too. I can't wait to see the finished film!
Just received the excellent news that, in addition to Yen For Zen's selection at @thefunnylifefilmfestival , it has also received a nomination for Best Animation there.
