Renowned choreographer, teacher and performer, Jasper Narvaez is a Filipino artist with Akram Khan Company (UK) who performs, creates and teaches internationally with leading dance companies and institutions. Join us for a week-long immersion in contemporary dance and elevate your dancing with 30 hours of classes in: contemporary movement training, repertory, floorwork, choreography and creative exploration. 💛 August 3 (Monday) - August 7 (Friday), 9AM - 4PM 💛 Location: SHIFT Dance studios, Wan Chai 💛 Price: $6800 HKD (Register by April 30, 2026 for a 10% early-bird discount. Limited early-bird spots available) 💛 Ages: 13+ (Intermediate/advanced, pre-professional and professional dancers) Jasper’s class focuses on how we work with weight, gravity, momentum, and efficiency, and how these shape timing, speed, and musicality, aiming to develop a physicality that moves between sensitive fluidity and explosive precision. Keep an eye out and share it to your friends and people , hope to see you there ⏳ 《殘存之間：暗室》（Limbo: The Waiting Room）置身於一個行動被暫停的地帶。 在等待的縫隙中，判斷、恐懼與想像悄然堆積。作品揭示人在等待時的心理風景：我們如何閱讀他者，又如何在他人的凝視之下被定義？ Limbo: The Waiting Room inhabits a space where action is suspended — in the cracks of waiting, judgment, fear, imagination, and the quiet power of stereotype begin to accumulate. Through distinct characters, the work unfolds the psychological landscape of waiting: how we read others through assumption and projection, how stereotypes shape perception before a word is spoken, and how we ourselves are defined — and confined — under the gaze of others.
