Got the brief for this project while in Lagos helping a friend setup his food truck business-next thing I knew, I was on a road trip to Benue, shooting “Wonderful” for @tayiwar
What started with a bit of skepticism turned into a full-on love affair with Tiv culture - the cat dance, the masquerades, the colors, the rhythm.
We faced a few lighting battles with my gaffer @thedavidochoga , director @nvthy and our great producer @pale.ethos , but in the end, everything came together beautifully.
Proud to have worked as DP, colorist and on the edit for this one.

Shoutout PayBac, JP and the crew. We must’ve been shooting for 12 hours. My Mom packed food and water in the morning. My Dad drove me to the shoot and rocked with us the whole day. First time he saw me shoot a music video. Special moments… All this because I had the random thought back in July “What’s stopping me from flying to Lagos to shoot a video?”. Booked the flight and everything else gradually fell in place 💫

From being a DP , editor another major skill that I’m proud I’m mastering is color grading cos for this scene , We wanted to achieve a sinister and mysterious look so we were really intentional about lighting up and grading it this way.
