Moments are the most important thing to focus on a wedding day, truly. However, there is storytelling in the details as well. The thought and sentimentality that are integrated into the design deserve attention too.

At Max + Kassidy’s wedding, they chose to gift succulents to their guests in remembrance of Max’s father who used to live in Mexico. Their escort cards were seed packets, derived out of their love for gardening. Their chef was brought in from Raleigh because his meals are sustainably created.

I also noticed how the light shone through the trees on the three empty chairs in the back row. When I saw this in my edit, I had to imagine that those chairs naturally stood for the three people (Max’s dad and sister, and Kassidy’s mom) who were were missed at their wedding. The light seemed to shine on them as if they were watching from above.
