Just give me 12 minutes of your time 🧎🏽‍♀️ This morning, I woke up and was heading out without my ring… then I ran back inside like, wait—never again in this life. 😂 But like I promised, this is the story from my point of view. Apparently, while I was doing medical tests and cutting my hair, decorations were going on in the studio. And honestly, I’m so glad we used the studio. I had always wanted just two possible places for my proposal: either my studio or my sister’s house—because my sister and her husband @mrandmrssho have been such a huge part of this relationship. And my studio has also been a catalyst for it. For someone who doesn’t really go out, it’s hard to convince me to do a proper dinner date or a fancy restaurant. So if he really wanted to surprise me, he had to bring it home—and he understood the assignment perfectly. How he managed to get my friends and family there is still a shock to me, because I had just one desire for my proposal: that the people I love would be present. And he delivered. Tobi delivered 100% and more. If they say, “Show me a man of his word,” this is my man of his word—because he always delivers, over and beyond. That day, I was foolishly playing around, thinking I was just having a normal day with my boyfriend, not knowing I was about to walk straight into my proposal. It’s a yes now, and it’s a yes forever. I love you, Tobi. I love you—and I know you know. Thank you to all my friends. Thank you to my family. Thank you for all the wishes. I have about 700 messages on WhatsApp, and this is probably one of my most viral posts ever. I didn’t know you all loved me like this, but I am truly grateful. @tolanialli you were a paid actor in all of this right 😂😂 So when people ask if this is a movie or if I’m acting… well, maybe when I’m married, we’ll ask that question again. But hey—maybe I’m just acting in my own movie. Who knows? 🤍✨ Pictures @tee_xclusivephotography Content @faramadeit_ and co 😂 Book @mrandmrssho Ring @berahhavensjewelry #joyshilevlogs

It's still #DyslexiaAwarenessMonth with the theme 'What's Your Story'. At our workshop last year, @joyshile , a representative of @onewordafrica shared with us her story of how she discovered she has dyslexia and ADHD. She also mentioned some assistive technology like Speechify, Youtube, Grammarly, Notion, Google apps, and other AI tools that helped her a lot in her dyslexic journey. Dyslexia is not linked to intelligence; people with dyslexia are smart beings. She also mentioned it's always good to ask for help as a person with dyslexia. Catch the replay of her session on our Youtube channel. 🚀 We are celebrating the stories, abilities, and achievements of people with dyslexia. Now tell us, what's your story? When and how did you find out you have dyslexia? How has the journey been for you? What has helped you so far? What help have you taken? Let's know your #dyslexia story, this would help someone out there. We look forward to hearing from you in the comments. #WhatsYourStory #DyslexiaAwareness #Neurodiversity #SupportDyslexia #DyslexiaNigeria #CodisaFoundation

Sometimes the people you hope will help your journey might not come through, and that’s okay 😌 Keep networking, volunteering, learning, and putting yourself out there. Every experience adds something to your journey as a creative. –The Naija Phoneographer #growth #contentjourney #creativetips

Save this post for your next trip because it is definitely worth it 😌✨🌴 We recently stayed at @ilajiresorts & @ilajihotelsandresort Ibadan and honestly… here are a few things I loved 🤍 First, apparently they can arrange pickup from the train station 🚆 (yes, we found out when we got there 😭😂 so I’m telling you now so you can be great 😌) Second, I actually liked that they do some form of screening before confirming bookings. It gave me the impression that they care about the kind of environment and guest experience they’re creating 👀✨ Third… going off-peak was one of our best decisions 😮‍💨🤍 A number of staff told us how crazy busy it gets during festive periods because families and groups literally book out the entire place 😭 So if you want Christmas / holiday vibes, please BOOK EARLY 😌 What I also loved? The food 🥹✨ Very local, very familiar flavors, and surprisingly affordable 👏🏽 And one of my favorite parts? Access to the sporting facilities without extra hidden charges 😌💃🏽 It honestly felt like we had this beautiful mini world to ourselves 🌴✨ Everything you needed was within the estate, which made the whole experience feel peaceful, easy, and worth it 🤍 And because closed mouths don’t get fed 😌😂 @IlajiResorts if you don’t mind having me and my baby again… we’re available 😭🤍✨ Have you been to Ilaji before? Would you try it? #joyshilevlogs #honeymooninibadan #honeymooncostbreakdown

You might need tissue for this one 🥹🤍 It’s just a 3:28 secs watch… give me your time. Nobody talks enough about the emotional rollercoaster of moving out of the home you stayed in before marriage. I lived with my sister and her husband before getting married, and apparently, the normal thing was to start packing my things before the wedding 😭 Everybody kept telling me: “Joy, start packing your things.” My mum called. My sister reminded me. Even my brother-in-law joined 😭😂 And all I could think was… how are all of you saying this so emotionlessly?? 🥹 Am I not your baby again?? 😭 So naturally… I ignored everybody 💀 Wedding came and went. First week after marriage, I was surviving on my husband’s clothes and the few things I took for honeymoon 😂 Then events started coming up and suddenly… I had nothing to wear 😭 That was when reality finally hit me that I actually needed to go pack my things. Then my brother-in-law called and said: “If you don’t come pack your things, I’ll sell everything on OLX” 😭😂 That was the motivation I needed 💀 But honestly… it was so emotional. My business started in that house. So much growth happened there. So many memories. So many versions of me were built there. And as I packed each outfit into my box, all I could think about was: 4 years × 365 days 🥹 My parents’ home was my first foundation. Their home became the second. And they did such an amazing job loving and raising me there 🤍 I’ll miss them deeply. But I’m also incredibly grateful to God for family, for growth, and for this new chapter 🤍✨ And yes… I finally packed my things 🥹💃🏽 Another milestone crossed. #joyshilevlogs #movingouttoyourhusbandshouse #movingout

Watch this video till the end to know what we used to create our gift registry 🤍✨ And please send this to someone planning a wedding 👀💍 To be honest, when the idea of creating a gift registry came up, I was very skeptical 😭 I’ve seen people get dragged for it online, so a part of me was worried it would be misunderstood. But at the same time, I also didn’t want to be unprepared when people started asking us what we needed 😅 So we created it in faith… hoping for the best 🤍 And honestly? You people showed up for us in the most beautiful way 🥹✨ Some people bought one item. Some people bought multiple items. Some sent money over And more than half of the registry was completed 😭🤍 It honestly meant the world to us. Not just because of the gifts, but because it showed love, intentionality, and support. Thank you to every single person that gifted us something 🤍 We’re eternally grateful 🥹✨ #joyshilevlogs #2026bride #weddingplanning
