New Headshot Alert!
It's been over 5 years since my last headshot. I rarely dress up and makeup myself for a shoot but when you have one of the best and high in demand photographers available and willing to shoot you a new headshot after an editorial shoot (with Miss California), you just don't let this kind of opportunity pass you by...I had to seize the moment! I had 15 min of trying to smile naturally and to figure out what to do with my hands (even Miss California tried coaching me). LOL! 😆 Well, with the right direction, lighting, model coaching, and editing, this is the result! Thank you, Scott Robert Lim, for helping me update my profile photo and making me look better than real life and 10 years younger! And yes, I already changed my profile photo! 😁

Sharing some BTS of a recent corporate shoot with lots of male grooming! Grooming definitely plays a huge role in setting the tone of the shoot, IMO. My goal was to quickly style and polish these men to be camera-ready for filming so they look and feel confident! 🤩✨️
I take being a makeup artist seriously, always looking for ways to be better, more efficient, and more professional. To me, being professional means responding quickly to client requests and questions, arriving early to location dressed professionally with my equipment clean and ready to go, set up quickly so I can style talents when they arrive, and sometimes meet new clients and introducing myself to them so they feel confident and happy with me. Also, coming up with solutions rather than creating problems and looking for ways to make the shoot successful usually results in more callbacks! Lastly, showing appreciation to my clients and not taking for granted that I can be replaced is the right attitude to have no matter how long I have been in the industry. People like to know they are appreciated, so before I leave, I make sure to aways say thank you to my clients, which includes the team for having me on their team. To be honest, this is easy to say but not easy to do. It takes a lot of effort, practice, and discipline to reach a level of professionalism, but the outcomes and relationships are so worth it!! 😀🙏
