For our first EVER gig at @the_common_room_wsm , we have invited sublime trumpet / cello duo @jow2o JOW to treat us to their distinctive blend of jazz, folk and classical chamber music. Featured on BBC Radio 6 Music, JOW’s compositions are both abstract and melodic, soaring and stately, earthy and playful - the perfect way to play out the Summer and welcome in the new season’s breeze. This also marks the final day of @blikmo ’s joyful #Superdogs exhibition. To celebrate, we'll also be screening a short “behind the scenes” film of Paul’s making, featuring footage of the opening “pawtrait” event and accompanied by a live, improvised score from JOW.
