I brought my ancestors’ energy through a live performance that had the new audience completely losing their minds and Ofc I could not have done it without my amazing band. After my set, @elmi.original kept the vibes alive with all the Somali funk throwbacks. It was such an empowering experience 🇸🇴Aaaaaaand @blikmo has done an amazing job capturing the essence of that night 📸

A RUNNING PORTRAIT OF THE LONDON MARATHON 2024
It's been an ambition of mine for years to film the @londonmarathon . Seeing the encouragement in the crowds was simply electric. The belief in others we don't know doing something so challenging literally moved me to tears and I'm so happy I went to witness this joyous spectacle.
This is a quick glimpse into the start of a bigger project I aim to make representing the world of bravery. @teamfinishtogether

In homage to one of my favourite artists and photographers John Baldessari I've made it my mission today in Morrocco to emulate his iconic image 'WRONG'.
Asking people I met on the streets of Marrakech to take a pictures of me Infront of the mobile 'palm' masts which are everywhere in disguise!

PROJECT REWIND is an ongoing collaboration between artists and photographers using 35mm film.
Double exposing on the same roll of film which has been rewound. Seeing what happens when the light sensitive film is exposed more than once. Creating those happy accidents, making new landscapes together.
Taken across time zones and temperatures, continents and countries, seasons and structures.
As this project approaches it's 10th year anniversary artists @k148photo and @blikmo invite you to celebrate this wider body of work at the @hoursbs1 gallery this FRIDAY the 10th at 6pm.

On Friday, Weston-super-Mare celebrated the launch of the SUPERWONDERSHRINE including a wonderful pooch parade created by Megan @clarkbagnall .
This temporary, multi-coloured art installation was co-created by artist @moragmyerscough with members of the local community.
Crafted and built by Weston-based master joiner @birtwistlesimon and local maker @shell.bells.j the design captures the energy of the local community, using sentiments and themes that have meaning to local people, including their love of dogs! 🐶🦴
#SUPERWONDERSHRINE is part of 21st Century super Shrines, a pioneering heritage project managed by @cultureweston . Launched in May 2021, it is part of a four-year High Street Heritage Action Zone (HSHAZ) cultural programme, funded by @historicengland in partnership with @aceagrams and @heritagefunduk
