Looks like we ended up P6 at this years @americanoffroadchampionship Silverstate 300. We got off to a great start. After lap 1 the top 7 cars were very close on corrected time. Heading out on lap 2 was probably one of the most fun days I’ve had behind the wheel of this Can am Maverick R everything felt perfect. After seeing the track at speed on lap 1 it was time to set sail and see what we could do. About 20 miles into lap 2 I noticed something in the rear end was off. It was hard to put my finger on what it was as the car felt perfect on the high speed 2 track roads but was a serious handful in the deep twisty sand washes. After rolling through the alternate pit at mile 78 they were able to tell me that our rear sway bar on the drive side had sheered off. Which gave me the answer to what I was feeling. Pulling into the main pit for our last fuel stop I told the pits if it didn’t look like it was going to mess something up to leave it alone as I didn’t want to lose track position. Unfortunately where it was hanging was down near the axle and we had to take the time to pull it off. My pit guys are the best in the game and made quick work of it. We were back on the road for the last lap with no rear sway bar. So it was a whole new learning curve trying to run at this pace without the sway bar. We had a great run other than that little issue which hindered our pace a bit. In today’s world it takes the stars being aligned to put it on the box. We are working in the right direction. Just need to put it all together. Thank you to all our sponsors who help make this happen!

The @themint400 was one of those it was going good til it wasn’t races. We started with Qualifying on Wednesday which put us in the number 13 spot for race day. This is a race I’ve never done so I wanted to run a conservative first lap to get the track dialed. After our first lap we took on 20 gallons of fuel and our car was feeling great heading out on lap 2. We were already starting to catch lappers heading out on our next lap. We had 2 cars on our rear bumper leaving the speed zone so I knew it was about to get dicey trying to pick our way through. At mile 11 on the 2nd lap we had a fluke mechanical that caused the car to catch an edge a put us on our side at about 50 mph. We also had the two guys that were behind us in the heat of the battle. One ended up rear ending us pretty good before we were able to get out of the car. It was around a blind corner in the dust so @prax224 and I were anticipating it. After that the fun began. We waited for 2 hours for a straggler to help us get flipped over which was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately I didn’t have the part in the pits so I had to macgyver something together to limp the car back to the closest access road so the chase truck could get to us. I’m sure most of you that logged into the live feed saw Preston jogging through the desert. Preston and I were working together to keep the car on the track so He would keep jumping on and off the car when I need assistance to get the car back straight. Well I thought he was on the car. Come to find out he ended up running 4 miles through the desert to get to me. I was on FaceTime with the chase truck when I realized I no longer had him with me. I’m glad he’s a through bred and we couldn’t stop laughing about it together. Also glad the drone caught the footage for us to watch!
Time to get the car back together and regroup for Silverstate. As always thank you to our awesome sponsors. Just need to dial in a few things to get this @canamoffroad Maverick R where it belongs.
Also thank you to all my friends and family who come out to pit us. And @b_callen for putting this together for us.

Watching this kids passion for driving his go kart has been so fun to watch. He has told me since we started racing he so badly wanted to get to drive around the track with the checkered flag. He finally pulled off the win this weekend and got to do it. Never grow up @kruzy_boy
My baby is 5! 🥹
Happy 5th birthday to our sweet boy. You love hard, play hard, and bring light wherever you go. You are cherished more than you will ever know. We are so proud of the special little boy you are and the incredible person you are becoming! Love you so much bubba 💙🎉5️⃣
@katiewallphotography always capturing the sweetest moments!
We had a solid run at @ultra4racing this year. Looks like we came out with a 3rd place in Pro Mod. We had a rear CV boot get torn up on lap 2 which hindered our pace a bit as I didn’t think it would live long. We run a guard to protect it which usually works great but we had a bolt come out causing it to shift and slice the boot.Such a fluke deal. We decided to not replace it as that would set us back out of contention. The axle held up for the next 120 miles with zero grease which was pretty crazy. Always thankful for all my family and friends that come out to make this all work. Time to get ready for the Mint 400 next!
