The
@flatirongso has been a part of the North Carolina Folk Festival for a few years, in a few ways. Since 2024, they have acted as a stage for the festival. A place to experience a show in a more intimate setting (and air conditioning). They have also partnered with us on an emerging artist program and other community-centric shows and have hosted past Local Folk shows. We share the same desire to uplift emerging artists and provide opportunities to local artists.
Flat Iron has something unique; the closing of doors would have a ripple effect in the Greensboro and North Carolina music communities, including the festival's footprint.
Consider donating or stopping by for a show! Ticket prices range from $11 - $35 depending on the show and if you buy your tickets ahead of time or day of.
