Fancy Gap is the North Carolina duo of Stuart McLamb (The Love Language) and Charles Crossingham, blending country warmth, ’90s alt-rock energy, and heartfelt storytelling. Born from late-night writing sessions in their namesake Fancy Gap, VA, their debut album introduced a cinematic sound featuring Sharon Van Etten, Adam Lazzara (Taking Back Sunday), and Rami Jaffee (Foo Fighters/The Wallflowers), and was mixed by Grammy-winner Craig Alvin (Kacey Musgraves’ Golden Hour). Following a PBS Shaped by Sound feature and packed NC shows, the band released “Starlite Motel,” “Gold Coast,” and “Home Again,” featuring Daniel Womack of Futurebirds, with more singles leading into their sophomore album.
Josh Moore is a North Carolina–based singer-songwriter and former frontman of the influential post-hardcore band Beloved. After years in the heavier music world, Moore reemerged with a more intimate, soulful sound rooted in folk, Americana, and gospel traditions. His solo work, including Parted Ways and Sunrise, reflects themes of healing, faith, and personal transformation, delivered through warm, understated songwriting. A respected presence in the Carrboro music community, Moore has become a true “musician’s musician,” known for his deeply resonant voice and collaborative spirit.
