My 2025 can't be summed up in 20 selections.
I started off the year with the most difficulty I probably ever experienced before in my life. I can post all the aesthetic places and food from Japan or Spain as much as the next person, but the things I remember the most as I'm scrolling through my feed are all these little moments:
From friend's weddings, to food meetups, to catching up with old friends who now have kids.
To randomly joining in a group ride ripping through Queens in the middle of the night and ending it by the water. To ball pits that were definitely not designed for adults to jump into.
To helping a friend move into his new apartment and carrying up a ridiculously sized furniture that won't fit the elevator.
To experiencing a slice of what life would be like in another city in another country. To experiencing a sunset in another part of the world
To having the opportunity to capture one of the most important days of my cousin's life
The last photo is me on set at Nike HQ, which should be something to flex about. However, everything else I stated before that takes precedence in memory.
Hope next year brings more to remember.

@fujifilmx_us sent over to me the #xh2s and the #xm5 for an upcoming shoot. I finally had some time to test and play around with these cameras and bring along my photographer cousin @seancheesecake to shoot some stills.
The built in film simulations with the #xm5 had him dumbfounded that he didn't have to do any editing to have a usable image. He also had fun walking around with its small form factor
On the video side of things with the #xh2s , I played around a bit with F-log and used #adobepremiere 's built in Fuji Eterna LUT after correcting F-log back to Rec709. An interesting workflow in post, but I was having fun. That fun aspect is what I enjoy about #fujifilm

I brought up to my mom that I wanted to get into film photography and she said that she had a #canonftb , a film camera back from 1971. This camera was gifted to my mom from my 婆婆 when my mom studied photography back in college. She refused to sell it because it was a sentimental gift from her mother.
So after digging through some old packed away CDs and VHS tapes in a corner cabinet, I managed to find it and it's mechanically flawless. Just a little bit of elbow grease to polish the exterior, load up some film, and it's ready to capture some more memories.

Quick edit of the #solareclipse of what I was able to piece together viewing from a small park on Syracuse despite the cloudy skies.
Experiencing #totality alone was worth the 5 hour drive up from NYC.

It was an honor being able to personally talk to Rich after seeing his name pop up from time to time in the Asian Creative Community. Very enriching experience to witness his creative process through his presentation!
