My album is finally out. You can listen to it anywhere you like, and I’ll have CD’s soon and a release show (TBA) at the end of the month 🧡🐸🧡 so excited and relieved to have this out into the world, I put so much of myself into it. Thanks to all who helped put their technical, instrumental, and visual skills into my musical world. Hello! It’s time to announce that my FIRST album, titled “We’ve Entered A New Memory, My Friend”, will be out in two weeks on 08/01/24 🐸🐋🐸 new single “Necro” is out now on streaming, featuring @catfish.jazz on pedal steel. Check the link in my bio for streaming and Bandcamp. Excited to finally get this thing out. Recorded, written, performed, and mixed by me.

WOAH WOAH out of the blue I post this normal photo to tell you that I (Josef Windheim) will be playing a show opening for @pons_worldwide (one of the best new bands out there) at @pdxswandive on December 27th. Harry and Ben will be joining me, playing new songs to a drum machine. It’ll be very interesting. I will also be filling in on drums for @pons_worldwide in Seattle, Olympia, and Portland. Film photos from across the making of @the_macks sixth record Bonanza. First 6 photos are from our recording sessions at @centerforsoundlightandcolor with @oxfordryan in early February of 2025. Next 4 are from a space we rented for 24 hours to write and demo as many songs as possible, sometime in the fall of 2024. Last group of photos from the album cover shoot in May. Another offering of the best music we can create. We rehearsed more than ever for the recording sessions, and the result is our tightest and most thought out record yet. Ryan was the perfect person to work with. I’m already thinking about the next record tho. But first I gotta go on the most ridiculous tour we’ve ever done. Thanks for listening!

Long year that was. One more Macks show in Seattle on New Year’s Eve. Something like 80 shows this year, plus 6ish New Memory shows. The Macks released our 5th album, and I released my debut solo album. Toured THREE times. Proud of all of this, and excited to continue this momentum into 2025. Bonanza!
