Playing at @theriveroakstheatre on March 25th, THE PILL is kicking off its film fest journey with a screening at this month's Houston Filmmaker Showcase, put on by @cinemasocietyhtx & @swampfilm !
The event starts at 7:15pm and will feature a handful of shorts from local filmmakers 🙌 So if you'd like to support local 🤌 and have a chance at catching THE PILL's debut screening, nab a ticket at the link in my bio! 🎟️

Over 4.5 years in the making, I'm thrilled to announce that THE PILL is making it's debut in the film festival circuit.
It's a short film that tested each and every one of us, requiring our patience, persistence, and dedication to the craft.

It was such a fun time being on Season 2 of Mo as an extra!
Definitely wasn't expecting to find myself on a Netflix & A24 project last year, but it was a great opportunity to see a studio-level production unfold here in Houston. On top of that, I got to make some great friends along the way 😊
It warms my heart to see two fellow brothers from Alief creating opportunities here in the city. @moamer and @tobenwigwe , y'all have done well in carving out this space for yourselves and I look forward to seeing how you continue to create in these spaces. Hope to join in on the fun sometime as we continue representing the talent out of SWAT!
Some fun context for slides 13 & 14 - Drew up a schematic of the set to help the 2nd 2nd AD (Barrett Farmer) with placement of background extras. Barrett was already working too hard so thought I'd help out 🙌 Definitely an amazing dude doing a fantastic job.

I had an absolute blast directing the 2024 Black Friday ad for @grounds_app !
When I heard the concept was a 'heist', I already knew we had to bring it back to the parkour days.

It was a pleasure getting called by @kelvinator_getdown and @statuesofrobots to help run their workshop this past weekend!
Presented by the Houston Cinema Arts Society's 2024 Film Fest, "Cinematography on Celluloid" was an educational event that offered filmmakers the opportunity to get hands-on experience loading and working with actual film.
It was a wonderful gathering of like-minded individuals and was a great example of Houston's ever-growing community of artists looking to tell stories in new and interesting ways.
This opportunity wouldn't have been possible without the love and generosity from @kodak_shootfilm , @kodakfilmlabatl , and @panavisionofficial . Thank you for offering the community a unique experience to work with film.
And of course, it was an honor working with the crew and festival representatives on this one. A huge shoutout to the @cinemasocietyhtx team for putting on great events like this each year!
