Singer Laren just opened its doors for the exhibition 'Wij Zijn Natuur' ('We Are Nature'), inspired by the life philosophy of Princess Irene of the Netherlands. In this exhibition, The Princess draws attention to the profound connection between humans and nature. She argues that humanity has placed itself outside and above nature—with all the consequences that entails.
In collaboration with renowned international artists, and with Maarten Spruyt as art director and curator, Princess Irene powerfully conveys her vision.
Joren Van Acker was invited to take part in the exhibition by Maarten Spruyt and Princess Irene. His work joins that of other celebrated artists such as Henrique Oliveira, Jackie Mulder, Tomáš Libertíny, Sun-Hyuk Kim, Tony Matelli, and Tineke van der Pouw Kraan. Together, their artworks act as windows through which we catch an intimate glimpse of the interconnectedness of all life. It is a journey that takes visitors into a world of stillness and reflection, inviting them to rediscover their place within nature.
