A self-taught graphic designer, with a focus on type design, living and working in Tirana, Albania with more than 10 years of work experience. His design approach leans towards a minimalistic and geometric aesthetic, aiming to always maintain a timeless and functional style that works well across various applications. Joreld sees design as a powerful medium to facilitate communication, serving as a solid foundation for discussions and human connections.
Currently running a small design studio in Tirana while still doing many side projects for friends, he has managed to work for both local and international clients, where we can mention United Nations, TEDx, Tumblr, The Albanian Pavilion in the Venice Biennale, Unicef, Timberland and many more.
In addition to his daily work, he often organises workshops and events to expand the knowledge and network by offering an alternative space for everyone to experiment and grow through their design work. He recently acts as a community builder for AlbaniansWhoDesign, a platform that celebrates albanian designers.
Some of his posters have been featured/shown on typographicposters, PDP conference, Open Collab, Public Views in Stuttgart, Tolerance Show in 40+ countries and Blank Poster in Cologne (exhibition + book).

As you advance in the career you’ve chosen to follow, love projects become more and more important to measure your creative abilities. This because often times in paid projects you will need to compromise in order to get rid of that annoying client who only needs your software abilities to execute his/her ideas.
A couple of years ago I joined @treesforalbania (previously called Trees for Lurë) as I saw a good will to do things properly so I offered myself to cover everything I could with all the free time I had/have. The project has been growing bigger and healthier since then, and we’re now planting in two different locations in Albania. Therefore there’s was a need to rename and rebrand our small yet significant initiative so I helped create a new brand that not only is an evolution of our previous logo, but is also aligned with our future vision for making planting trees a key aspect of keeping our forests healthy.
What’s even more amazing is when the people in the team fully embrace your work and that’s all you could ask for.

During the last months, at @paragraf.type we developed a series of workshops that gave opportunities to young people, visual artists and various practitioners to generate artistic creativity that is easily translated into profitable activity.

At the end of the project, we are pleased to invite you to the opening of the "Paragraph Type Showcase" exhibition at the Tulla Culture Center on Friday, 08.09.2023, from 19:00, where, in addition to the creators of typography, there will also be invited professionals who will contribute to the exhibition materials.

Paragraf aims to be a continuous workshop that inspires and helps anyone interested in developing an alternative and experimental practice that finds scope anywhere in the world.
