There’s A Devil Inside Me is moving, transgressive, hilarious and devious all at the same time. Made by a womxn/non-binary led team, produced indie, and made with love and grit.

@karinaripper is part of the
@americanfilminstitute DWW+ Class of 2025. This film carries that spirit. Bold. Focused. Built by women and allies. It centers a rebellious teen, a Catholic setting, and a heist of the church collection basket. It speaks to agency, girlhood, and power. We made it with an all-hands indie crew across communities that rarely get the mic.
Thank you to the programmers who believed in the work. Thank you to our cast and crew who carried it across weekends, favors, and tight turnarounds.
