The pink room
A faceless woman lying on the ground
A rotating fan inflates and deflates her dress, simulating breath.
The cat stalks across the carpet
Planes of feeling stutter and transmute,
silvery pools that bleed across the screen
Violence seeps in through the window,
bubbling beneath the sleepy pastoral daydream.
As quickly as the feeling comes, it goes,
slipping softly from the room.
