In 2016 (after Broadway shows opposite Nathan Lane, Ethan Hawke and Larry David) I had starred in my biggest movie yet opposite @joshlucas - it was called CORTEX… and it was never released. Despite starring bonafide legends and having thriller themes of a dystopian mind mapping future we are now living in - it’s just sitting on a harddrive somewhere
Acting as a career has been the greatest teacher of what the ancient Yogic texts remind us - We’re entilted to the labor itself, not the fruits of our labor. The empowering way I say it is:
We can’t predict the breakthroughs, but we can keep showing up.
Any great artist I’m aware of has a seen or unseen robust body of work bc they didn’t know how to stop the work that was intrinsic to who they are, regardless of outcome.
What is something you love doing for the sake of it, regardless of outcome?
Identify and lean in.
Follow your bliss and become limitless. Yes we all have to pay the rent in some form, but as Rumi says “Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love - it will not lead you astray.”
Life to me has no inherent meaning other than what we give it. So let Love lead.
One of the greatest lessons I’ve embodied from the Breathwork journeys I guide is to peel away and let fall the layers of conditioning that tell me to be anything other than what I am.
Which has made it easier to live from Love, not Fear. And at the core, those are our options.

This was my first project back after my two year hiatus from the entertainment industry, and it couldn’t have been sweeter..
Our director Lisa at the talk back said something to the effect of “I wanted to make a project that addresses cultural issues but is also fun and funny and brings people together - we have enough division as it is, I want to bring people together.”

Treat others how you’d like to be treated.
We are so concerned about what “side” we’re on we have forgotten to notice where there is freedom and where there is control - of speech, behavior and lifestyle.
However you identify, whether you like beer, pickup trucks, dresses, nail polish, pickleball, knitting or listening to Mozart or Nickleback - if you’re loving your life, not hurting people, and not telling anyone else how to live theirs - I am for you. May we all find our way to tolerance, compassion, listen and communicate from the heart.

In 2021 I had a vision…
The world was getting more tribal by the day - incessant Fear provoked by profit driven, clickbait media building (sometimes CREATING) the divide of US and THEM…
I had a solution…
Think globally, act locally:
Create a space with no panic porn - where screens are not present - just humans, together in nature, in their raw, full, heart centered humanity
We breathe, we play, we make art, we laugh, cry, scream, dance, we connect
I spoke out my vision, my soul brother Oliver heard the call, shared the vision and here we are - our 5th Rewilding Retreat in the woods of MA
You are not alone. We all disagree on many things (even people we think we like!) and we all have many things in common (even people we think we hate)
US and THEM is a binary fallacy that thrives on fear and othering - that media propagates for profit
Don’t give in. Rage against the dying of the light
Please take this to heart - your words, your actions, your reposts and shares - are they from Love? Or Fear?
It’s not easy…
There are SOME genuinely misguided people out there
But MOST of us just need simpler, direct, human communication
I’m certainly not perfect, but we can collectively find common ground with the people in front of us. Change the narrative…
