It’s that time again! Feature Friday is back for the next installment. This week it's
@jonnyfallout , Musician, Composer, and Producer. He is known for the song “Phantom Heart (Night Waves)”, which I can guarantee you is a banger, it ties DnB, Synthwave with a bit of Guitar, and also a bit of Pop. If you check out his music, make sure it's this one you listen to!
From a young age, Jonny was interested in music so he learned a couple of instruments “I learned classical piano from my mother. I eventually switched from classical piano to jazz and then rock. In college, I played out around Boston in various bands and found my way into electronic music.”
As for why Jonny got into music: “Music was a huge part of life in my house growing up.” “My mother was a multi-instrumentalist and teacher.” so as you can tell music was in his blood. “Since she had to be at home to care for myself and my sister, she ran a piano studio out of the house during the afternoons. I think she had 20 piano students a week, including us.”
While there are many musicians from rock to jazz to electronic that mean a tremendous amount to Jonny, It’s Peter Gabriel who has perhaps influenced him the most. “His imagination, artistry, musicality, and command over the amazing sonic landscapes and worlds he creates are second to none. I've followed his work from Genesis to his solo career and admire all of it.” "Red Rain" by Peter Gabriel is one of my all-time favorites tracks.”
