Hey everyone, I just released my new album The Neon Shredder (link in bio)! It includes 10 tracks of fast and mellow Synthwave/Retrowave nostalgia combined with '80s shred guitars! I hope you enjoy! THE GAZETTE - REILA Guitar Solo In Memory of Reita Back in 2005 or 6, I don't exactly remember, I discovered my first Visual Kei band, Malice Mizer. I loved that musical style and cultire so much because of the totally cool visuals but especially for the fantastic music and musicianship. As I usually do when I discover new genres, I delved into that world. One of the first bands I came across was The Gazette. They had amazing music, they were heavy and I was impressed. Their bassist, Reita was especially interesting and I'd say the face of the band because he was always wearing a cloth covering his nose. He also made a huge impression to my sister's best friend, so much so that she went and bought a bass to learn and play like him I was saddened to hear about his passing back in 2024. It really hurt because I, as many more fans, created memories with his music. Yesterday I was in a nostalgia trip and I was listening to my favourite song from them, Reila. I remembered that this song had a fantastically melodic solo, so of course I sat down to learn it. That's my small tribute to the memory of an inspirational musician and the band that will stay with me forever. Note: I couldn't find a backing track without the guitar solo so I had to play mine over the album version. #TheGazette #Reila #Reita #visualkei #guitarsolo #guitarists #guitaristsofinstagram

My audio interface is broken after 13 years and it can't handle high gain tones anymore, it's very noisy. I'm the kind of person though that enjoys high gain in my playing and when a slight inspiration hits, I have to record something. I can't wait until I'm able to buy a new one. These riffs and chord progression is inspired by early '00s emo bands and as usual, at the same time I try to add my own spin. I think it's a cool headbanger and I am sure it will sound fantastic when I am able to record properly. #emo #guitar #guitaristsofinstagram #metal #2000s

One take. No edits. Real guitar playing. Since I'm trying to fight my lack of inspiration, I thought I should start learning some classic guitar solos that I actually should have learned years ago. This is of course Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin, a guitar solo that is a whole lesson on the use of the pentatonic scale and bends. This is also one take, not mimicking, real playing with all its tiny mistakes as I would play it if I were in a live situation (minus the stress from actually being in front of an audience :D) I hope you enjoy! #guitars #guitarplayer🎸 #guitarplayers #guitaristsofinstagram #ledzepellin #stairwaytoheaven #guitarsolo #ibanez

In Autumn is my first single for 2026 and it's inspired by the bittersweet nostalgia that season makes me feel. Musically, the track is inspired by new wave with a touch of synthwave. Check it in full on Bandcamp and I hope you enjoy. /track/in-autumn #newmusicalert #synthwave #newwave #producers #80smusic #nostalgic

I grew up with Mihalis Rakintzis music back in the '90s. He wrote pop bangers with fantastic lyrics and wasn't afraid to experiment. It was unique to see heavy metal inspirations like shred solos in greek mainstream pop music, and the song Ti Sou Leipei (which freely translates to 'What's Wrong With You?') had one of those solos. I think I am very close to the original even though there are some short runs I couldn't hear clearly to transcribe them properly. I remade the whole part of the song as a backing track and played the solo afterwards. In the end of the video you'll also get a taste of the original by Mihalis. I hope you enjoy! #guitarsolo #guitarcover #mihalisrakintzis #guitarsofinstagram #ibanez

2025 was a very slow year for me. Lack of inspiration, not finding an interesting sound for my music, life setbacks etc. That lead to only a few singles and a few collaborations, the music I really enjoyed. That also lead me not to celebrate my 10 years as a synthwave procucer. That anniversary actually came when I felt I lost my touch, so I wasn't in the mood to celebrate it. While I'm slowly trying to get back to it with something new I will be proud of, I am definitely THANKFUL to all of you who are still listening and supporting my music. In our day and age artists need to be active and in your face constantly. I can't do that because I don't feel it. Whenever I have something I'm proud to share, I'll share it. There's no reason to occupy your time with nothing important. These number in the screenshot tell me one thing : That there are PEOPLE out there still enjoying the stuff I made. Hopefully in the future I'll make even more for you. Thank you.

Well, when you can't properly compose you write whatever lame idea comes your way and you hope that by jamming you'll get something. Even in the worst case where you get nothing, it's still fun. #guitars #guitarists #guitarsolo #guitaristsofinstagram #progressive #progmetal #progrock
