We’re super excited for Nelson’s East West Cycleway which will link 5 schools for families doing the school run on bikes
A couple of weeks ago we filmed the Families for Safe Cycling Bike Rave - a colourful, community-led ride along the proposed East-West Cycleway route in Nelson. Fancy dress, decorated bikes, good music, and a whole lot of heart.
The ride was about more than just a good time - it’s a call to Nelson City Council to make this cycleway happen. A safer, connected route for families, kids, and everyday riders across the city.
Keep your eyes peeled for Heinz the Ski Champion who’s converted to Cycling!

Turns out 2016 was a hell of a year. Entered through a fiery doorway with my love @lissspratt in Thailand, got lost in a labyrinth the day #Bowie died, became an Irish Godfather and an Uncle (again), sampled Italy with pals and France with fam, witnessed huge car fire at Boomtown, worked on multiple war films (in galaxies far off and in this one), and finished up in a house in tiny town in the north of England where I was the only one not to contract Norovirus.
It’s funny, but I guess you don’t realise you’re peaking at the time.
Our cup is full! What an epic event to be part of! We have had the best time working under the amazing leadership of @julian.f.matthews and Annie for @runthespectacle - also with @christopher_sibley as the producer of all video content and the legend @jonfkroll as an industry mentor, showing us how the pros do it. Loved working alongside our bros @lumiere.nz and also bumping into @visionco_film who was shooting for live stream and on drones- it was cool having a bunch of small production companies working together to help make this all happen! Thanks to all the @masseyuni students who absolutely nailed shooting everything with such keen enthusiasm and skill, we can’t wait to see the edits! This event was flawlessly run and had such a feel good vibe filled with excitement and endorphins! Bring on next year- this is an event not to be missed!!! Thanks for this snap @christopher_sibley 📸
