We’re super excited for Nelson’s East West Cycleway which will link 5 schools for families doing the school run on bikes
A couple of weeks ago we filmed the Families for Safe Cycling Bike Rave - a colourful, community-led ride along the proposed East-West Cycleway route in Nelson. Fancy dress, decorated bikes, good music, and a whole lot of heart.
The ride was about more than just a good time - it’s a call to Nelson City Council to make this cycleway happen. A safer, connected route for families, kids, and everyday riders across the city.
Keep your eyes peeled for Heinz the Ski Champion who’s converted to Cycling!

Tune in Saturday 14th at 9am on NZSO+ to see Piripi Taylor read:
“Taea Ngā Whetū” - Colour the Stars

Nā Ngaere Roberts ngā
kōrero i whakamāori
accompanied by Claire Cowan’s @nzcomposer composition for the NZSO
With 15 musicians creating the rich textures of Claire Cowan’s lively composition, we always strive to give each their own spotlight. The aim of this project is to function not only as entertainment but also as an educational tool demonstrating the sound each instrument makes.
With only around five full takes with the ensemble, we opted to use four cameras which brings its own challenge of ensuring the cameras don’t get in the other’s shot.
We hope you enjoy this special episode as much as we enjoyed producing it!
Have you seen our summer campaign with @seifriedestate on the big screens at @nelsonairportnewzealand ? This was a fun full day shoot, shot at the beginning of summer with many asset deliverables and we’re quite happy with what we delivered! These types of shoots require all crew to wear all of the hats as can be seen in this video. @peanutbuttervibesphotography shot this little BTS on their phone- and if you see any of the stunning stills out there from the same shoot, that’s also their handy mahi! Shout out to our assistant & second camera @arloradford and @kinithifonseka for coming on board as part of the team and to all the Seifried cast & crew for mucking in where needed! Beauty linen, water glasses, cutlery & cushions hired from @roameventsnz
PROGRAMME IS OUT for Te Tauihu on Screen - See ya there! - Shout out to @nmitnz for sponsoring us by providing the awesome Johnny Cash Room. If you’re a student or staff member comment NMIT on this post and we’ll send you a discount code!
BTS: Our 99% female crew had a great day shooting this fun festive campaign for Tohu Rewa using @kismet_cocktailbar as our location. But where would be without our wingman and techy @jonnyeagle on lighting?! This was a very fast turn around shoot. With Gabe helping me dress the set for a speedy 3 hours, quick curry and then 4 hours of shooting including styling all the wāhine on arrival!
I sourced all of the props secondhand with some beauty hire pieces from @roameventsnz . Highlights included shooting though crystals all night long and candle lit film snaps throughout the evening.
Ngā mihi @tohuwines for always trusting us with the vibes also to @peanutbuttervibesphotography for her amazing standby props work and for snapping this cute BTS on her phone! @blicksblooms for te putiputi ataahua @girlsinfilm_aotearoa
