Forest Road. Complete 2.5 years after buying a dilapidated maisonette in London Fields, I can finally sign the project off. When I bought the property it hadn’t been touched since the 70’s and was made up of loads of little crap pointless rooms. Over an 18 month build, myself and @cake.architecture took the roof off and built a whole new level and re imagined the floor plan. It’s been massively testing at times, my neighbours hate me and there’s a scaffolder out there that wants to see me dead. But it’s done and I’m really proud of how it looks. Thanks to @lazzahem for pushing it over the line and making it nice with flowers etc

Now then… As some of you may have noticed I’ve been taking on some extreme bike rides as of late. Well there is some method to this madness. Deep in lockdown and looking for somewhere to turn a group of us decided to take on a SERIOUS challenge, tired of the relentless and miserable stats we turned away from the R number and towards the Watts, RPM & HR. The challenge is the age old Le JOG (Lands’ End to John O Groats) a challenge that has stood the test of time purely down to its simplicity – an end to end ride across the UK. So, after months of training for the others and a few rides here and there for me the day is almost upon us. We set of in 3 weeks time for 9 days of consecutive cycling covering just shy of 1000miles (120miles a day) starting in the farthest end of Cornwall finishing in the outer most post in Scotland …. What a f***** idiot I am. However, we are riding for a very important cause…. Momentums Children’s Charity The Charity work to support the families of children with cancer and other life-challenging conditions. Like so many charities, Momentum Children’s Charity has been hard hit by the Covid-19 outbreak and so now more than ever, any cash you can spare will make a huge difference. To show your support, please click the link in my bio, any donations would be massively appreciated no matter how big or small, your money is going to a great local charity that need money at this time. Love Jonny.
