Still trying to digest this week of hard work, love and community❤️ so many photos and so many to thank, I will do my best to summarise ❤️ Thank you to @andrea_spicehound_correa and the board for trusting me with this job and for your support, your dedication and endless hard work. You are incredible. @nmtsk and @byjonashedqvist my producing partners, we did it!!!❤️ Every single volunteer, every single lecturer, panellist, workshop holder and performer part of the local day 3/7. Thank you, you made this happen and I was so proud and honoured to work with each and every one of you❤️ My Mermaid family - our audience and our performers. You are not only mind blowing performers but so kind, generous and caring and I will forever be bragging about knowing you because you are truly excellent in every way. Wow how to summarise this week?! So incredibly exhausting yet energising, inspiring and magical. Thank you to @nightschool_org and to @amiralexandersalem our lord and saviour, to @stathis_kalatzis @kkondrat @mirikmilan and all the incredible venues, lecturers and of course my fellow night school students - what a school trip eh guys!! A memory for life and cannot wait to welcome you all to @club__mermaid and to come and see all your events!!! The EU election results today are very dark but this week gave me hope of all the amazing people all over Europe wanting to do better - not just for nightlife, but for communities, for real inclusion and for safer spaces ❤️ photos by the fantastic @raymondvanmil (apart from the train wreck photo I think that’s @ic_yonic ?)

Meet our NightSchool participant Jonna (she/her) who has flourished as an actor, screenwriter, and producer since completing her studies in 2015. With a diverse portfolio spanning performances at prestigious venues like Unga Turteatern and Teaterverket in Stockholm, as well as appearances at renowned festivals such as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Jonna has showcased her talent and versatility on both stage and screen. Notably, she spearheaded the feminist forum BOSSY, cultivating a vibrant community of over 30,000 members in the UK's cultural landscape, while also delving into the world of drag during the pandemic, ultimately founding her own club night in Malmö to invigorate the city's drag scene with her creative vision and passion for inclusivity. @club__mermaid

I always go on about @club__mermaid and how much it means to me and even more how much my mermaid family means to me so I’ll keep it short ! Get a ticket for 🫀love love love🫀next week, we’ve really upped our game at @inkonst you’d be crazy to miss it ❤️‍🔥 (just look at the gorgeous dress my mama made me for the last one!!!!) and yes third pic is awful but look at all the love 🥹💓

This Friday was probably one of the best nights of my life🖤So much work and pain and stress put into something that became I think, unique and so spectacular. I want to give a huge shoutout to my mum @linahannosweden (grand mama mermaid 🧜‍♀️) for making this incredible outfit for me, I felt so gorgeous in my mother’s mermaid skin💜 som alltid ett enormt tack till en stor del av hjärtat i @club__mermaid @_la_marqua_the_queen_ ❤️ tack för allt du gör för mig och för club Mermaid!!!
