Yesterday we said goodbye to the best little girl ever. We got her when she was 4 or 5 and she came with issues. It was 6 months into our relationship but somehow I knew that both she and @brianjones_nyc would work out. They both did - spectacularly. Our apartment feels empty but our love for her and for each other is still strong. Goodbye, Hillary, you’re the greatest.
So proud of this massive team effort by everyone at @tedcountdown and @ted and so many other incredible organizations. We can create a better future, and it can happen faster than we think. I co-directed with @robpaulmeyer and am incredibly grateful to everyone in this especially @cfigueres , Nigel Topping and @manoushz . Available now on PBS and TED.com.
Today I spoke at @aidswalkny as the Chair of the @gmhc Board of Directors. What an honor to be with so many people supporting GMHC’s important services for those living with or impacted by HIV/AIDS. In a time when so many of our rights are in peril and such awful racist violence is all too common, it was especially powerful to be together in person. Thank you to our entire community.
“AIDS is not a bad person’s disease, Rose, it is not god punishing people for their sins.”
I have been waiting to see this posted somewhere so I could repost, but I haven’t, so here it is. Goodbye Betty White (and Rue McClanahan). Thank you.
On December 4th, @the_brianjones and I got married. Our amazing friend @sarahmcdk officiated. Here’s to a life as fantastic and full of love as these photos by @sbrackbill .
Last week @gustavobonevardi and I went to Philadelphia. Voters waited on line for up to 6 hours, but they were determined. And they gave us the win. Thank you, people of Philadelphia. Thank you.
