The 41st annual AIDS Walk New York takes place this Sunday. The event helps raise awareness of those living with HIV and AIDS. This year, the theme is “Walk Like An Icon.” We’ll be out there walking with participants... we hope you’ll join us!
We are honored to welcome the one-and-only ✨Peppermint✨ to the AIDS Walk New York stage as this year’s featured speaker!
👠 Peppermint is a New York City-based actress, musician, and public speaker who made herstory in 2018 as the first out transgender woman to originate a principal role in the Broadway musical, “Head Over Heels.”

A fierce advocate and long‑time champion in the fight against HIV and AIDS, Rosie returns as one of our Opening Ceremony featured speakers.

We’ve made incredible progress in HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment — people are living — but the complacency they warned about in 97’ is exactly one of the issues we’re still fighting today.
We must show up for the women and young people, for the Black, Brown, and trans communities where cases are rising, and for the long-term survivors and everyone affected by HIV/AIDS that need our support.
