Jon Meyer is the lead singer and songwriter of the alternative rock band Talk Station and the folk duo Smoke Red Sun. He will be playing selections from both acts on acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and a stick dulcimer. Jon's music has been compared to Bright Eyes, early Radiohead, The Neutral Milk Hotel, early Coldplay, and The Smashing Pumpkins. Although Jon is a prolific indie musician, he is most known in the local music scene for his many music videos he's directed for other Portland artists. That's just a fun fact, there will be no video screening at this show.
