If interested in the latest UFO/UAP disclosures, then maybe check out my texts for some sessions I ran on the environmental architectures and ecological aesthetics of UFOs at the @RCA@EA_RCA over the last year on
Looking forward to giving the keynote talk to an interesting symposium in Oldenburg Germany in a few weeks… I’ll be presenting some new material on some old themes (Bateson, Marx, environmental architecture etc) concerning design and planning in the context of increasingly uncertain future scenarios - ‘Ecological planning in therapy: steps to an eco-surrealist manifesto’
The Gregory Bateson research group has lost one of our cherished colleagues. Marie brought warmth, laughter, passion, and humour to our collaborations. See more tributes on the RSD website. /in-memory-of-marie-davidova/
A pleasure to return to University of Westminster School of Architecture yesterday as external examiner for PhD viva of Rofayda Salem, for her analysis of the environmental performance of traditional mashrabiya screens, and her highly innovate proposals for contemporary ceramic mashribiya incorporating evaporative cooling. Thanks to fellow examiner Nasser Golzari, and congratulations to Rofayda and supervisors Rosa Schiano-Phan and Juan Vallejo on some fantastic research
And a few weeks ago in Athens, a masterful performance from Brian Jackson, here with double tribute to the meta-masters John Coltrane and Gil Scott-Heron (but I must have my hand half over mike)
Lovely to return to an autumn Venice to present our project on ‘Urban Evaporative Cooling and the Ecological Semiotics of Heat and Pollution in Athens’ for the closing of the Venice Architecture Biennale 2025
Ha actually have the T-Shirt from my time at Sir Norman’s (1996-98)… it was a decent enough building for one of those, but didn’t get beyond the basement level due to the Asian stock crash
Eton Rifles: respect and solidarity to my old gaffer and occasional collaborator Prof Jeremy Till, who I recently found out was one of those arrested a couple of weeks ago, correctly defending Palestine Action from the ever more absurd and disgraceful Smarter government’s support for Israeli Zionist terror. Free Palestine.

The funeral is tomorrow Monday at S Essex Crematorium followed by a wake in Barkingside - message me if you don’t have details. Several decades into the decline of bathroom fitting design, Heathrow hits a new low with this piece, which needs both additional text and videos to explain how to use
