Four months ago, one slam changed everything.

At the
@fminvitational I severely injured my right footābreaking my Lisfranc joint and dislocating four metatarsals. What felt like a normal crash turned into one of the hardest battles Iāve ever faced.
ā¢
Flying home with my foot swollen didnāt help, and the diagnosis hit hard: two surgeries. The first to stabilize my foot with hardware, the second to repair the fractures. The physical pain was rough, but the mental side was even harder. There were a lot of days where I honestly wondered if Iād ever skate the way I used to again.
ā¢
After two months I started physical therapy with
@prokinetix @cidneya.dpt and began the long road back. It was slow, frustrating, and humblingābut little by little things started coming back.
ā¢
This footage is just 3 weeks after being cleared to skate again, and I canāt explain how much it means to me. Every push, every turn, every trick right now feels like a win. Iām not 100% yet, but Iām getting closer every day.
ā¢
Huge thank you to the people who helped me get here: My wife
@desireeprostylist for sticking by me through the rough days. Dr. Chris Sherman and my care team. My PT Cidney from
@prokinetix .
@doc_steph_aureus for helping me find the right physician.And everyone else who supported me through this process.
ā¢
Also a big thank you to the brands who had my back the whole time:
@factionskatecompany @redeyewheels @5050frames @rekdprotection
ā¢
Iām not all the way back yet⦠but Iām on my way.
